Startup
#Check over the machine for unsafe conditions.
#Check that the four bolts attaching the basin to the machine are snug and secure.
#Check which basin you should be using. They should be labelled ductile iron or aluminum.
#For aluminum use the colloidal solution and wet the pad, For iron, also wet the pad but then put about a ¼ inch layer of water on top.
#NOTE: This machine is only meant to be used for the very final step of polishing.

Mounts
#Place the mount into the proper sample holder using the recessed holes in the mounting device.{A,B}
#Tighten the set screw only until the mount is firmly tight, not too far.
#Carefully place the sample holder along the outer edge of the basin. {C}

Operation
#After ensuring the vibration setting is set at 0, turn on the machine.
#Slowly adjust the vibration until the sample holder makes a revolution approximately every ten seconds.
#Wait 30-60 minutes, longer for harder materials.

Shutdown
#Once stopped, remove sample holder with sample.
#Place them both into the ultrasonic cleaner.
#Remove mount from holder.
#Remove basin assembly from machine by unscrewing the four hex head bolts. Immediately replace the bolts on the machine.
#Wash the basin assembly under the sink.
#Place in ziplock bag to maintain moisture.
#Clean the work area.
